The Polymer Processing Society was founded in 1985 with the intention to create a platform for presentation and discussion of research results in the international polymer processing community. The first conference (at this time modestly called meeting) 1995 in Akron, USA, was the starting point of a series of very successful international annual PPS conferences. Since 1996 regional conferences have completed the offer of meetings.

The Europe Africa Regional Conference 2017 will be organised by three leading scientific organisations in the field of polymer science in Saxony. The organisers invite you cordially to join the conference and meet friends and colleagues, expand your network and accompany young scientists at their entry into the polymer community.

Dr Gabriel Choong, a KTP Associate with The University of Nottingham, will be presenting a paper entitled “Challenges to the industrial melt-processing of conductive plastics: can post-processing produce cost-effective conductivity uplifts?”
