The event will mark the first anniversary of the SMG and will take the opportunity to highlight some of the activities have been undertaken to support rubber sustainability. The topic of recovered carbon black is already receiving additional attention and, now, the SMG aims to ‘broaden horizons’ to see what else can be done as a group to develop and support other renewable materials in order to make industry more responsible. Dr Matthew Thornton from Haydale Composite Solutions will be presenting a paper at this event to give an introduction to both Haydale and the ElastoPlas Project.
